Porsche European Open

I was in Germany last week to play in the Porshe European Open, they had incredible amounts of rain on the Sunday and Monday before the event and the river burst its banks so the course was closed until the opening round on Thursday - nothing the tour or the promoters 4sports & entertainment could have done - the course when we eventually started was amazing considering the amount of water it had on it during the start of the week , it was another long week of delays this time due to fog every morning which meant it was a 54 hole tournament , I shot -9 for the week which ended up in a tie for 28th , there was again some good stuff and as I've been saying for a while I feel really close Massive thanks to everyone at 4sports , Porshe it was a brilliant week

Cardinal apparel photo shoot PLGC

We had a photo shoot today with david law , Ross Kellett , Craig and Michael for our new Cardinal Apparel clothing , it was really good fun and great to work again with top photographer John Paul who has done some stuff for us before. Craig from We Film Golf was also there doing some video clips for the website

Italian Open

I havnt played the Italian open for quite a few years so it was nice to tee it up in Milan this week , the course wasn't in the best of condition and the weather was awful which meant lots of stoppages and delays , I shot 72 + 68 which missed the cut by 1 shot , I hit it really good today but bogeyed 16 and 17 which was incredibly frustrating , I managed to get home and now have a couple of days off before heading to Germany for the Porsche European Open

PLF Flag Series Finals Day

PLGC, Sunday 11th Sept

We had the Foundation Flag Finals today at PLGC , with 40 boys and girls who qualified throughout the year to play. It was a lovely day with a little breeze , the course was in excellent condition. I gave a clinic after the prize giving for all the kids and parents which was good fun , massive thanks to Michael MacDougall , Marian and Fyona Duncan for all their hard work this year and also the parents for bringing the kids week in and week out

Morrison Motors Golf Day

Turriff Golf Club

I was at Turriff golf club yesterday for a golf day with Morrison motors staff and guests , I performed a short game clinic in the morning then played 2 holes with each of the 9 groups followed by a bite to eat and a Q&A , the course / catering was brilliant as always with everyone having a great time

Bunkered Magazine

I was down at the Carrick GC this morning with bunkered magazine , I gave a clinic which included long and short game then played the second hole with each of the 6 groups , we finished off with filming some tips which will appear in the magazine over the next few issues

Omega European Masters

Omega European masters

Crans Sur sierre

Last week I was in the beautiful mountains of Switzerland playing the Omega European masters , I missed the event last year as it was played the week after the open which I tend to have off ,  the weather was awesome and was really hot which is unusual , the ball flies 10% further  up the hill so the course always plays quite short but is very tricky with small sloppy greens , I shot 70,68,73,67 to finish -2 and in a tie for 49th which isn't great but I felt it was another decent step forward with loads of positives , I have this week off to recharge the batteries before a really big run of weeks
