I was out at hill of Banchory primary school this morning for a couple of hours with two primary 3 classes , we had a Q&A with them all then I signed autographs and had a pic with each of them , the kids and staff were brilliant I hope they enjoyed my visit

22nd March

I was at Plgc this morning with our PLF team of golfers firstly to have a look at their short games for an hour then to play 9 holes , we spent about an hour working on all aspects of the short game which was worthwhile , then we threw the balls up on the first tee with myself and Sam Locke loosing by 1 hole to our Michael and Adam fisher with Michael birdieing the final two holes  little ****. Lol , we then had a bite of lunch at Clarets

w/c 16 March

Have been pretty busy this week with hitting balls in the morning at Plgc then short game and gym at home in the afternoons , also had a few meetings re saltire energy matchplay and last night alan Reid and I were invited to the Turriff Utd v cove Rangers game by Aberdeenshire shield sponsors Morrison motors up in Turriff , it finished 2-1 to Turriff after extra time



PLF Pro Series event 10-14 March - Penina

We flew to Faro from Glasgow on Tuesday morning as we were playing at Penina hotel and golf resort in our second PLF pro series , this time we invited 19 pros to play 54 holes.  The weather was superb as was the venue with the course being a good test and in good condition , many thanks to everyone at Penina for looking after us superbly well and of course to Michael Macdougall for organising us all week , scoring was a bit mixed as you'd expect as some of the boys havnt played much golf , David Law and I tied for first on -8 with the top ten players receiving prize money , the foundation covered accommodation ,green fees and food for the week , I hope all the boys enjoyed it as I certainly did

5th March update

Rhein golf show

I was in Düsseldorf last Thursday and Friday at the Rhein golf show with caledonia putters , I was on their stand most of Friday as well as doing a Q&A on the main stage which was all good fun and great to see so many people trying the product

St. Andrews

I was down in St. Andrews for a couple of days with Craig , caddie Davy and foundation manager Michael Macdougall , we played the new course on Monday then the jubilee on the Tuesday , mind you we didn't play all the way round either day as it was really cold and blowing a gale !!! ,  apart from that I have been busy hitting at Plgc and working hard on the short game at the house

 Eat on the green

We were out for dinner last Saturday with the Morrisons and the Reids at eat on the green which was the first time we had been there and it was really  really nice I would highly recommend it , service and food were top notch
