Dubai 21 December

My caddie Davy Kenny and I flew to dubai on Wednesday morning to get some work done prior to the start of our season in a few weeks time , we hit balls in the mornings then played every afternoon either at jumeira golf estates or the Emirates golf club , both facilities looked after us very well and couldn't do enough for us , the weather has been magnificent and my game has been very good so it has been a good idea to get away and play some golf

Sunday 14th Dec

I flew to Portugal on Tuesday afternoon as we invited 11 other pros to take part in a 36 hole event at pestana vila sol which was very nice and the course was in good condition , our foundation paid everyone's expenses and put up a small prize fund , I felt it was a perfect time for us to take away some guys to play a competitive tournament , we had a practice round on the Wednesday then played 18 holes each day on Thursday and Friday , we had a good mix of young and experienced pros with everyone having a great time

Sat 6th Dec

I was down in Manchester yesterday at the pga north region lunch , I took part in a Q&A for the guests which was good fun,

I hit balls at PLGC this morning then went to pittodrie with young Michael to watch aberdeen win 3-0 against a pretty poor Hamilton on the day , we played very well in the second half and could easily have scored a few more goals

Wed 3rd Dec

I played at Buckpool this morning in the North East alliance which was a little cold first thing but again really nice , I hit it really good again and shot 64-6 which was nice , I played with foundation manager Michael Macdougall and my oldest loon Craig who did well to shoot 70 after being +4 after 8 holes , Buckpool was in fantastic condition for this time of year, today will probably be my last alliance of the season as I start my tour campaign in early January, massive thanks to the two Davy's who run the alliance and do a very good job for everyone

We have recently taken back the coffee shop at PLGC and have re named it Clarets coffee shop many thanks to d2 marketing who designed our new logo

Tues 2nd Dec

I was at Hazlehead primary school this morning to meet the kids and take part in a Q&A which was really good fun with some fantastic questions , I hope the kids enjoyed it as much as I did I have kept myself pretty busy with hitting balls at Plgc every morning then heading home after lunch to do some gym work which has been really good  , I feel much better about stuff and feel good about next year
