Last week Marian was away in Elgin for a couples of days so I was chief cook and bottlewasher (pasta bolognese and the boys ate it.....amazing) I had a few meetings about my new PL Invitational which is progressing nicely, I now have two sponsors secured. I was a Portlethen on Friday night for junior prizegiving and on Saturday I sat on the couch watching Soccer Saturday with my phone going every goal AFC let in. Never mind hopefully Craig and Archie will sort them out. On Sunday I was at Stonehaven then Westhill for their junior prizegivings then in the evening Marian and I took all our Foundation football coaches our for dinner at the Marcliffe as a small thank you for all the work they do for us, we had a wonderful meal and a good laugh.

This week has been very quiet on the golfing front for me but I have been busy and had a few meetings for various projects for next year. One of which will be my first Paul Lawrie Invitational which will hopefully be a 54 hole professional event on the Tartan Tour, with a one day pro am before the event. I have also been in the gym most days which has left me feeling much better. On Friday I did a Q & A at the bad boys lunch in the Carmolite Hotel, all proceeds went to the Foundation (thanks lads) Friday evening I was up in Cruden Bay to present the prizes at their Junior prizegiving, I also did a Q & A with the kids and their parents. (Many thanks for the donation to the Foundation) But the best thing to happen this week was my purchase of a remote control helicopter (hours of fun) Oh and in case you missed it AFC sacked another manager which is fair enough as the results were very poor during his time here.
